Patrimônio líquido
Representa o conjunto de obrigações com os sócios, acionistas ou titular (em outros termos, os donos da empresa).
Por que essa definição de obrigações com sócios/acionistas/titular? O termo ganha força devido aos registros dos recursos investidos pelos donos da organização serem efetuados no Patrimônio Líquido (PL). Seja investimento com o capital integralizado, seja com ações, cotas ou demais participações.
Entende-se que, se houve um investimento por parte dessas figuras mencionadas, a empresa lhes trará um retorno (seja positivo ou negativo). Então, essa relação entre os investimentos e os retornos do negócio são registrados neste subgrupo.
Assim como ocorre com o passivo, a natureza das contas do Patrimônio Líquido é credora (exceto quando tratamos de suas contas retificadoras – prejuízos acumulados e ações em tesouraria, por exemplo).
Por fim, fazendo uma breve analogia, no PL é onde conseguimos observar a saúde da empresa. Verificar se ela está saudável ou com problemas a serem tratados.
